I’d advise you to do that as we don’t stop anywhere nearby to be able to eat food other than after Lara Bay, which was a hut where we ate our lunch. We had enough time to swim and enjoy Adonis waterfalls too, the water is freezing ! We got to the place with a taxi and they priced matched us to take…”

Far away from the crowded beaches, our guide, Edward, picked us up in his spacious and comfortable car and drove us through the Trodos Mountains, where we enjoyed spectacular scenery filled with vegetation next to the river. We were able to enjoy walks through typical villages and tasted delicious traditional food. He was very friendly and helpful, and very flexible at all times. I was able to enjoy a short foot bath in the river, and he brought me a towel to dry myself.”
